For the festival’s 10th anniversary, Festival Director Bizz Varty will be your choreographer. She created the first dance mob back in 2015 and it has become a beloved annual tradition.
On September 14th, you can learn the moves at 3:20pm, then perform alongside friends and festival artists at 4pm!
Each year, professional London dance artists create a fun and easy to learn routine to an upbeat song and then teach it to anyone who wants to learn!
The dance mob is for everyone and we love seeing community volunteers join our festival artists onstage. Check out this playlist of previous Dance Mobs.
Bizz has sworn us to secrecy on this year’s song so if you want to find out what it is you’ll have to join a workshop and learn the moves!
Samantha Sendas is your 2024 Dance Mob Captain!
Sam’s first festival appearance was in Breath in Mvmt’s “Conversations Never Had” in 2017. She co-choreographed the 2018 Mob with Katharine McCormack and co-led the 2023 Mob with Brandon Clarke. She’ll be assisting choreographer Bizz Varty at the upcoming 2024 workshops and performances.
